28 May Culture and Women Rising

Blog by Moises Huerta

Enjoy these pics from an event celebrating the women in our community. All good things in life were provided. Great people, great food, great art, and lots of talented performers.
Thank you all for attending and contributing to his very worthy fundraiser. Thank you Ruben Gonzalez for providing a place for this venue at Rancho Tenochtitlan.
From the opening blessing forward this was a great night. Couldn`t have asked for better weather.
Thank you to all participants for your contributions: Pepe Rivera & Danza Azteca Citlatonac, Cihuatl Ce, Jacqueline Rubalcava-Lopez (District Coordinator for State Assembly Eduardo Garcia`s Office), Angie Negro, Representative of Shelter from the Storm, Virginia Ortega, Community Activist, DJ Sugar Free, Azul Quetzal, Higher Heights (with the awesome Juan Rivera) and DJ Eddie Ruiz.
It was an honor to be in the company of so many talented East Valley Raza members.
